Padua is showing the signs of carnival. First it was the fritelle in the pasticceria. Then crostoni at the supermarket. Now some of the windows are decorated in the theme of carnevale. I already have seen confetti being sold at the tabaccaio and decorating the city center's pavement. Do you have your costume ready?
I hope all this snow does not spoil Carnival. It is snowing here so I am enjoying staying warm and catching up with all my blogging friends.
ReplyDeleteIt snowed just a little bit today and may snow more tonight. You definitely have more of the white stuff. The first weekend in Venice was a "cold-out"--not many tourists.
